Ariel Investments Says Go Long Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A)
Ariel Investments Says go long Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A) for both the short and long term. Ariel Investments Charlie Bobrinskoy said he usually advises investors to take a long-term approach, but with Berkshire you'll do well with it in the short-term and long-term.
Berkshire Hathaway has gone nowhere over the past twelve months, while Warren Buffett has had one his best twelve months ever. Bobrinskoy thinks that the book value can go up at least 10% which is not being reflected in shares of BRK.A. Since the book value is not being recognized in it, he thinks it could jump after Berkshire reports earnings on November 10th.
Bobrinskoy told investors rather than buying options in Berkshire, the investor should look at Berkshire's Class B shares (NYSE:BRK.B).
