Modern Warfare 3 Online Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer Released

Share:

Today marks the beginning of the two-day conference called "Call of Duty XP" taking place in Los Angeles, California. The event kicks off at 2 PM Eastern time today. There is no doubt that everyone has come to the event in order to have a first look at the multiplayer experience in the upcoming Modern Warfare 3, but a trailer has already been released for those who just can't wait.

From the trailer, we can see a slew of new weapons and perks that will be included in the next Modern Warfare title. In addition, it appears as though the tomahawk from Call of Duty: Black Ops is making a return (but maybe under a different name). The heartbeat sensor, riot shield, and what seems to be a remote static camera have all made their way back in Modern Warfare 3.

Also, something new seen in the trailer are dog tags that can be picked up after you kill an enemy player. We're not exactly positive on what these will do, but expect to see more unveiled in the coming hours at the conference. Land mines also seem to have made it into the multiplayer gameplay in Modern Warfare 3. What appears to be a sentry gun that moves (similar to an RC-XD) is also shown off in the trailer.

Modern Warfare 3 will be released to the public on November 8, 2011.

What do you think? Liking it yet?
