Apple's Not So Tiny Flex, Cupertino Shoots Halloween-Themed 'Scary Fast' Event On iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple Inc.'s (NASDAQ:AAPL"Scary Fast" event has concluded with a surprising twist at the end – the entire pre-recorded presentation, from start to finish, was filmed using the company's highest-end model, iPhone 15 Pro Max

What Happened: While Apple has long touted the iPhone’s camera as a tool capable of producing “Hollywood-quality” content, this marked the first time an entire Apple event was captured using the device.

The entire 30-minute presentation during the Halloween event, which unveiled the latest Mac models and M3 chips, was shot using the highest-end model of Apple’s latest smartphone series.

At the end of the event, after Apple CEO Tim Cook thanked everyone, a message appeared on the screen with the tech giant's logo, "This event was shot on iPhone and edited on Mac."

It also had a disclaimer saying, "All presenters, locations, and drone footage shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max."

For the unversed, iPhones have long been used to shoot movies in Hollywood

"Tangerine" directed by Sean Baker was filmed using iPhone 5s and Steven Soderbergh's psychological thriller "Unsane" was entirely shot on an iPhone 7 Plus

Why It's Important: Cupertino launched the iPhone 15 Pro Max last month, along with other models from its latest smartphone lineup.

The device comes with significant video enhancements including the recording capabilities of ProRes Log at 60 frames per second, supporting Academy Color Encoding System, and offering the advantage of 5x optical zoom.

It is worth noting that Cook has long been touting the advanced camera upgrades of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

He previously shared some photographs taken with the device by renowned photographers, Stephen Wilkes and Reuben Wu, which also received praises from Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. "The beauty of iPhone pictures & video is incredible."
