Trump Open To Debating Meghan Markle: 'Didn't Like The Way She Dealt With The Queen'

In a recent radio interview, former U.S. President Donald Trump indicated his willingness to debate the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, if the opportunity arises, Business Insider reported.

Trump, while on “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” discussed topics ranging from the indictments against him to the first Republican presidential debate and President Joe Biden.

During the interview, host Hugh Hewitt drew a parallel between the prospect of a Trump-Markle debate and the 50th anniversary of the second “Battle of the Sexes” tennis match, suggesting it could attract a comparable global viewership.

Trump, who had previously referred to Markle as “nasty,” reiterated his criticism of her treatment of Queen Elizabeth II. 

“I’d love to debate her. I’d love it,” he said.

He added, “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman at 95. She was so sharp. She was a hundred percent. When you watch Biden, you say, this is a different planet. But they treated her with great disrespect and I didn’t like it,” he added.

In addition to Markle, Trump also expressed his intent to debate the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024.
