Trump's Truth Social Tipped Off FBI To Man Who Allegedly Threatened Joe Biden
Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, tipped off the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about a man from Utah who made threats against President Joe Biden, reports CNBC.
The man, Craig Deleeuw Robertson, was subsequently shot and killed by FBI agents during an arrest attempt.
Truth Social alerted the FBI when Robertson posted a threat against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr., who is currently prosecuting Trump for alleged falsification of business records related to a hush money payment in 2016.
Armed and defiant, Robertson was shot at his home in Provo, Utah, after refusing to comply with FBI agents’ commands. At the time, agents sought to arrest him for making death threats against President Biden, Bragg, and FBI agents.
Robertson’s death is now under investigation by the FBI’s Inspection Division.
