You Should Pay Attention To The Toy Fair
Investors that own stock in a toy company (or many toy companies) should be paying attention to New York City as the city will host the 2017 Toy Fair February 18 through 21.
The event will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and toy companies will be front and center. Last year thousands of play professionals occupied 415,000 net square feet of exhibit space and showcased hundreds of thousands of toys, games and youth entertainment products.
The Toy Fair is not open to the public (including consumers) and only retailers, wholesalers, importer-distributors, buying groups and manufactures' reps are eligible for admission.

In other words, the Toy Fair is a "who's who" of the toy industry. All of the industry titans will be present and some companies took the opportunity to offer investor presentations in conjunction with the event.
Wall Street analysts are likely to be paying close attention and may update their outlook on individual stocks or the sector as a whole.
