As of 9:45 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 125 points, or 1.1%, to 11,784, the S&P 500 slipped 15.7 points, or 1.3%, to 1,239 and the the Nasdaq Composite slumped 32.9 points, or 1.2%, 2,667.
