Nouriel Roubini Thinks Recovery is Present But Far From Robust
Nouriel Roubini stated on CNBC earlier this morning that he does see the recession over and the economy at the beginning of a recovery. This is a much rosier picture than he was imagining in March. Roubini stated that at the time he underestimated the amount of liquidity and stimulus the government would inject into the economy.
However he still sees the recovery as "anemic" over the next several years while he believes the market is pricing in a "V" shaped robust recovery. This he believes will cause the market to correct once investors realize the recovery will be much slower than currently thought.
Currently the S&P 500 is 52% above its March lows and is only 4.7% below its recent high.
