WSJ Poll: Voters Not Very Positive On Clinton Or Trump

If you're a registered voter and don't like either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, you may find some solace in the fact that most Americans feel similarly.

According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News Poll, 56 percent of voters surveyed in both parties hold a negative view of Clinton while only 32 percent hold a positive view. The 24-point gap represents an expansion of nearly two times compared to last month's poll where 51 percent viewed the former First Lady negatively and 38 percent positively.

Meanwhile, 65 percent of registered voters view Trump unfavorably and 24 percent view him favorably - a 41 point difference.

Senator Ted Cruz also has an image problem, The Wall Street Journal added. Nearly half of voters view him unfavorably while 26 percent view him positively.

Voters surveyed appear to "feel the Bern" as 45 percent of voters view Senator Bernie Sanders favorably versus 36 percent that view him negatively.

However, Sanders' trails Governor John Kasich, who The Wall Street Journal describes as the candidate "with the least baggage." Around 31 percent of voters surveyed view him favorably and 19 percent view him unfavorably.
