New Carnival Partnership Brings Craft Beer To Cruise Passengers

Carnival Corp (NYSE: CCL) detailed on Monday a new partnership in which guests will enjoy hand-crafted beers brewed right on board.

Concrete Beach, an independently operating subsidiary of Boston Beer Co Inc (NYSE: SAM), will take charge in crafting various beers which will be inspired by and brewed to be representative of respective locales. Flavors include an aromatic, floral and hoppy IPA, an unfiltered lager with aromas of bananas and spices, and a traditional stout with a hint of coffee flavor.

The beer will be offered in Carnival's "newest, largest and most innovative ship," Carnival Vista.

"We've been working for months with these talented partners who have helped us create three exciting and unique craft beers for Carnival Vista and we anticipate our guests are going to absolutely love them," said Eddie Allen, Carnival's vice president of beverage operations.

Shares of Carnival were trading higher by 0.10 percent at $48.98 early Monday afternoon.
