Facebook Promotes VP Of Product Chris Cox To CPO
Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) on Friday, May 2, announced that it promoted Vice President of Product Chris Cox to Chief Product Officer, but noted the company has not made any organizational change.
Chris Cox helped create Facebook's News Feed and came up with the social media giant's “Social By Design” strategy.
The announcement was made by CEO Mark Zuckerberg and was made public in an internal announcement.
Shares of Facebook closed at $60.46 on Friday and are currently trading at $59.90 or -0.93 percent in Monday's premarket.
