This week Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) announced its plan to acquire Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) in what could be the largest merger of the year.
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is rumored to have beefed up its iWatch development team even though the device itself has yet to be confirmed.
Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) also made it into the rumor mill, thanks to reports of multiple new Nexus devices.
Verizon (NYSE: VZ) got in trouble when it was accused of reducing the quality of Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) video streams.
AOL's (NYSE: AOL) CEO got in trouble after opening his mouth (a frequent occurrence for the exec).
And Bitcoin came under fire again after another hacker attack.
