Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) is set to part ways with President of Global Sales Hilarie Koplow-McAdams.

Koplow-McAdams will be leaving the company where she occupied the position of President of Global Sales. Koplow-McAdams was tasked with focusing on growing the company's business globally.

Koplow-McAdams, a former executive at Oracle, and former VP of Sales for Intuit, will be assuming the position as Chief Revenue Officer at New Relic, a fast growing software analytics company.

AllThingsD reported on December 9 that Koplow-McAdams' departure at Salesforce was widely expected amid a broader shake-up on the company's executive team.

New Relic's main business is its cloud-based software that is used to monitor the performance of other softwares including Web apps, smartphone apps to ensure that it's running right. The company is in the final stages of finalizing its Rubicon Beta, a business intelligence engine.

“Earlier this year, I thought that if I could convince Hilarie to join us and complete Rubicon Beta, then everything else is just gravy, I would have done what I needed to do as CEO of the company,” New Relic's CEO Lew Cirne told AllThingsD.

“When I met Lew, it felt different,” Koplow-McAdams told AllthingsD. “This is a guy designing a product that people love. When I started talking to customers and analysts, I could not believe the warm reception that I got. That got me thinking.”

New Relic recently raised $80 million in a private equity round, bringing its total amount raised to $175 million since 2008. The company also recently hired Peter Currie, a long time Silicon Valley finance veteran to its board of directors. Currie also sits on the board at Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) leading AllthingsD to describe the company as “starting to warm up the engines for an IPO.”
