Share:

Tempur-Pedic International Inc. (NYSE: TPX) is spiking approximately 5% after sources are saying private-equity firm Advent International has emerged as the likely buyer of National Bedding Co., a maker of Serta brand mattresses, for around $3 billion, according to Dow Jones.

Sources are also saying Bain Capital and Berkshire Partners are bidding for Serta as well. This news has likely heightened interest in Tempur-Pedic and Sealy Corporation (NYSE: ZZ), which is trading up 2.94%
