Charlie Gasparino Reiterates MF Global Likely Not Surviving Weekend

In a tweet, Fox Business reporter Charlie Gasparino said that MF Global (NYSE: MF) is in a "mad dash to sell assets" as the firm is getting dangerously close to falling.

Gasparino also said the bet is that the firm can not survive the weekend. Benzinga contacted a spokesperson for MF regarding this, and the spokesperson had no comment on Gasparino's comments. MF Global is run by Jon Corzine, the former CEO of Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) and Governor of New Jersey.

At last check, shares of MF were off 7 cents to $1.36. Shares have lost over 90% of their value since the start of the year.
