iPhone 4S Going for $1,600 on eBay

How bad do YOU want a new iPhone 4S?

If you want it so bad that you're willing to shell out $1,600, you most certainly can – thanks to the kind everyday folks who waited in line this morning to get an iPhone 4S with the sole purpose of re-selling them through an online auction site.

eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY), everyone's favorite auction hub, is getting flooded with offers for the new phone this morning:

Those of you who remember the problems of the iPad 2 launch might be tempted to spend the extra cash and secure the latest iPhone. But don't jump the gun just yet – while visiting an Apple Store in Troy, MI this morning, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) Store specialists (read: Apple Store employees) were as reluctant as ever to reveal how many phones they had in stock. But despite having a crowd of roughly 100 people, no one seemed to be going home empty handed.
