FOX Business Network's Eric Bolling Clarifies Segment

We noticed Fox Business Network's Eric Bolling issued a correction on his show's website today.

The correction addressed a segment he did this past Tuesday on the Center for American Progress' latest report about Islamophobia titled “Fear, Inc.”. During the segment, Bolling inaccurately attributed a line from an American Thinker article as being “directly from the report.”

During the segment Bolling said: “And I need to point this out, I am reading this directly from a, this report, the Obama-allied Center for American Progress has released a report that blames Islamophobia in America on a small group of Jews and Israel supporters in America who's views are being backed by millions of dollars.”

It was a pretty big gaff by the show's host – confusing the report with a clearly slanted story about the report. But, glad that the issue was addressed, albeit two days later on their website. The correction states: “You need to know that I was reading aloud from an American Thinker magazine article critical of the group's report and not from the report itself. Sorry for the confusion.”

In addition to the online correction, we verified with a Fox Business spokesperson that the issue will also be addressed on Eric's Follow the Money program tomorrow night. Glad that's settled…
