Confirmed: Magic Johnson Coming Back to Detroit, Will Join Dan Gilbert's Venture Capital Firm

After hopeful tweets and hints from Quicken Loan's founder, Benzinga has confirmed that Magic Johnson will join Detroit Venture Partners, the Detroit-focused venture capital firm from Dan Gilbert.

Gilbert started the new venture capital business, which focuses on entrepreneurship and technology, to help create jobs in Detroit.
