Share:

Business Insider, the Wall Street Journal and others are reporting that KKR (NYSE: KKR), Silver Lake, and a third investment group are set to acquire GoDaddy.com for $2.5 billion.

Previously owned by Qatalyst Partners, the domain name giant has been up for sale for more than nine months. Business Insider notes that Qatalyst began to look for a buyer last September. At that time, the firm was said to be worth around $1 billion.

If only we all could double our worth in just nine months!
