Eric Hippeau: Huffington Post Can Surpass WSJ.com
Benzinga is reporting live from the IGNITION Conference in New York City. Today, Eric Hippeau, the CEO of the Huffington Post, said that while he has a ton of respect for the Wall Street Journal, he thinks that in five years his company can be worth more than WSJ.com.
“This is just the beginning for the Huffington Post,” he said.
Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, no question. The WSJ.com iPad app has already garnered $15 million in sales this year.
