Use Dips To Buy Stocks: Tech Sector Looks Good
The market seems to have shrugged off the difficult last week.
Talking with CNBC, Tyler Vernon, Chief Investment Officer, Biltmore Capital Advisors said that he has a neutral short and long-term stance on the markets. He stated that liquidity and monetary policy are likely to push the markets upward in the short run but he raised his concerns about the long term viability.
However, Art Nunes, market strategist, IMS Capital Management, said that the market is in the bullish phase and therefore each dip should be taken as the opportunity for accumulating stocks. Tyler Vernon termed the ‘Technology’ and ‘Consumer Staples’ sectors as his favorites. Major tech stocks such as Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) are trading 2% higher today.
