Is MSFT Better Investment Than AAPL?

Share:

Tavis McCourt of Morgan Keegan, and Roger Kay of Endpoint Technologies, along with Jim Goldman of CNBC Silicon Valley compared Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL)and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) in an interview on CNBC.

Microsoft (MSFT) is pretty optimistic on its new windows based mobile phones, but Jim Goldman thinks that MSFT is playing catch up with Apple (AAPL) when telephone sales are in play.

Endpoint Technologies believes that Microsoft's (MSFT) main product of the year is Windows 7, and mobile phones are just a step on the way. They think that Microsoft (MSFT) took eyes of the phones and Apple (AAPL) burned roads in the meantime.

Morgan Keegan thinks that Apple (AAPL) has the least risk in the sector that became more competitive. and the company has put a lot of pressure on its competition to open the app stores. They think Microsoft (MSFT) is number six to develop an app store.

If you ask me, I wouldn't write off Microsoft (MSFT) so easy.

Apple (AAPL) gained more than 1.5% on Tuesday, and Microsoft (MSFT) traded around $25, more than 1.7% up.
