James Cameron just appeared on CNBC with Michelle Cabrera Caruso to talk about the evolution of 3-D technology. Cameron has directed mega-hits, Avatar, Titanic, and Terminator. He said that 3-D will be much easier to integrate into mobile devices such as smart phones.
According to Cameron, with these smaller screens, there will be no need for 3-D glasses. He said that the technology "will be revolutionary" when it comes. Mr. Cameron predicts that 3-D will become our interface with the world of screens. Avatar is a great example of just how compelling this technology is. The movie was sold out up until its last day at IMAX screens and is the highest grossing movie of all time.
