Popular YouTuber MrBeast found himself in a peculiar situation involving an individual he initially believed to be the tech magnate and Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) father Elon Musk.

What Happened: James Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, embarked on a quest to capture a moment with the renowned billionaire, only to realize later that the person in question was a Musk look-alike. 

"I thought this guy was Elon Musk but as I got closer I realized he wasn't but I was in too deep on the picture to back out," MrBeast tweeted on X.

Why It Matters: Musk’s fondness for Dogecoin is no secret, as his tweets adorned with memes and jokes about the cryptocurrency have become somewhat legendary. The self-proclaimed “Dogefather” even mentioned DOGE during his hosting appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in May. 

In the realm of Elon Musk look-alikes, Yilong Ma has emerged as a prominent influencer, particularly on TikTok, thanks to his striking resemblance to the tech mogul. Of particular interest is a TikTok video that skyrocketed in popularity in early February.
