Greenlane Opens 3 Higher Standards Stores In Uruguay

Cannabis retailer Greenlane Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GNLN) has launched three Higher Standards stores in Uruguay.

The Boca Raton, Florida-based company opted to expand its global footprint under the deal with Kaya Herb Group.

The stores are located on Uruguayan Riviera, in La Barra, Punta del Este, and Jose Ignacio exlusive resorts.

In addition, the three new shop-in-shop retail locations are Higher Standards’ first international dispensaries.

The customers can enjoy a wide range of high-tech vaporizers and luxury smoking accessories such as G Pen and Marley Natural products, as well as brands like Jonathan Adler.

“Partnering with Kaya Herb Group allows us to expand Higher Standards internationally for the first time and fulfill Greenlane’s mission to create unforgettable experiences for cannabis consumers around the world,” Greenlane’s CEO and co-founder Aaron LoCascio noted Tuesday.

Greenlane sells cannabis accessories and specialty vaporization products.

Over the last year, the company landed several deals, including a collaboration with Stündenglass to bring Gravity Hookah to the U.S., Canada, and the EU consumers, an exclusive channel partnership with Philter Labs for the distribution of its POCKET and PHLIP brands, and a deal with Cookies to distribute its hemp-derived product line, including CBD cartridges for the G Pen Gio.

In June, Greenlane opted to form a joint venture with San Francisco entrepreneur and rapper Berner and launch the Vibes Rolling Paper line in Europe and Canada.
