A Bunch Of Economic Data Points Are Coming Out Next Week

The week starting on August 3 will bring a bunch of interesting news. Not only will the market see companies like Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS), Priceline Group Inc (NASDAQ: PCLN), Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA), Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE: KORS) and Groupon Inc (NASDAQ: GRPN) report their quarterly financial results, but also, a nice collection of U.S. economic data will become available for investors, analysts and the general population.

Below is a look at the calendar, courtesy of JPMorgan:

Monday

On Monday, numbers for personal income and spending for June will be released. In addition, investors will see the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index for June, the Institute of Supply Management Manufacturing index for July, construction spending figures for June and auto sales for July.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, factory orders for June figures will hit the market.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the ADP National Employment Report (a.k.a. the ADP Jobs Report) for July will come out, accompanied by the trade balance for June and the Institute of Supply Management Non-Manufacturing index for July.

Friday

Finally, on Friday, the world will be able to access the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ July U.S. jobs report. Of course, this last figure is the most important of the week, JPMorgan analysts assure.
