European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The French CAC added 0.4%.

The Spanish IBEX fell 0.6%.

The Portuguese PSI tacked on 0.8%.

The euro is currently down fractionally against the U.S. dollar by 0.02% to 1.2317.
