Fed Buys $720 Million During POMO
The New York Federal Reserve purchased $720 million in U.S. Treasury debt during its permanent open market operations (POMO) today.
Dealers submitted $18.851 billion worth of debt, as it looks like investors are trying desperately to get out of U.S. Treasury securities.
Maturities purchased were from 01/31/2013 - 01/15/2014.
