Consumer Confidence Data Worse Than Expected
May consumer confidence data was just released, and it came in than expected.
Following a weaker than expected Chicago PMI, consumer confidence data came in at 60.8, versus expectations of 66.3.
The Dow Jones is up 108 points, the NASDAQ is up 22 points, and the S&P 500 is up 10 points following the release of the data.
