DingTalk, Alibaba's Mobile Office Enterprise App, Just Launched This Week

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (NYSE: BABA) launched V3.0 of its DingTalk app on September 19. This development could “further enhance the synergy between corporate cloud computing & mobile internet,” Brean Capital’s Fawne Jiang said in a report. He maintained a Buy rating on the company.

DingTalk is Alibaba’s corporate communication and mobile office enterprise app. Fawne mentioned some highlights of the latest version of the app as:

1. Smart office phone and external contact functions have been introduced. These would aid connections between enterprises, and the external contact function would record the business history of both parties, while also supporting data sharing to colleagues
2. Upgraded the DING function to support distribution of task option and set-top display
3. Partnered with Deli, a leading office facility manufacturer, to launch the first DingTalk-based cloud attendance machine

According to MyDrivers, DingTalk had covered 2.4 million corporate organizations as of August 31, Fawne stated.
