Air Freight and Parcel: FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX)
FedEx is down 14.06 percent year-to-date and has shown further weakness in December, falling 9.05 percent this month. However, according to FedEx CEO Mike Glenn, the company has showed strength this holiday season: "We've experienced record-breaking demand during this peak season, largely driven by the rapid growth of e-commerce. Our busiest days during peak have exceeded our forecast and more than double our average daily volume."
Railroads: Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (NYSE: CP)
Canadian Pacific Railway is down 33.29 percent year-to-date and has fallen over 13 percent this month.
Trucking: Marten Transport Ltd. (NASDAQ: MRTN)
Marten Transport is down 18.53 percent this year and has fallen 3.26 percent in the month of December.
