Adobe User Survey Shows Tremendous CS5 Acceptance

Adobe Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADBE) has shown solid CS5 upgrade patterns since its April 2010 launch, which is considerably more meaningful than the pre-CS4 results, as 46% have already upgraded to CS5 and for those who haven't yet upgraded, the intentions are between 90-92%, according to Piper Jaffray surveys.

According to survey results, Apple/Flash are not persuasive enough to take the design tools loyalists from Adobe. 98% indicated that they would continue to use Adobe tools despite the fact that Flash does not run on Apple devices.

Piper Jaffray maintains its Overweight rating and $44 price target.
