On CNBC's “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Joshua Brown of Ritholtz Wealth Management picked CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD).

On Wednesday, CrowdStrike announced an expansion of its partnership with Alphabet Inc's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Google Cloud to enable end-to-end security for AI innovation with the company's Falcon Cloud Security platform.

Brenda Vingiello of Sand Hill Global Advisors named Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (NASDAQ:VRTX), saying the first non-opioid pain medication will be a game changer.

Vertex Pharmaceuticals will report its first-quarter financial results on Monday, May 5, after the closing bell.

Bryn Talkington of Requisite Capital Management picked Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOOD) as her final trade.

On the earnings front, Robinhood Markets will release its first quarter financial results on Wednesday, April 30, after the closing bell. Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings at 37 cents per share on revenue of $909.41 million.

Supporting her view, HSBC analyst Stephen Bersey, on Thursday, upgraded Palo Alto Networks from Reduce to Hold and announced a $156 price target.
